This is a group of my students doing a dance. The girl on the bottom left is Thu Trang, then Chi is in the middle. In the back strating from the left is Tam, Cam Trang, Nhan, and Anh. They are all so cute. I was sitting in the very front and everytime they would look at me they would start laughing.
This is another group of girls from my class that danced. It was so fun to get to see them dance and show off their talents because I really can't tell you how shy they are in class. But as soon as they start to learn English more I can tell they are going to be really outgoing!
These are two girl in my class. The girl on the left is Tam and the girl on the right is Ly. They were so funny! I laughed so hard at their skit and so did everyone else.
This is Nick. He is one of the Thai students that studies here. Sandy and I have become really good friends with the Thai students because they live on the first floor of our dorm. They are all so funny and I really enjoy getting to spend time with all of them. Below is a picture of them doing a traditional Thai dance. They are all so dressed up and beautiful. They tried to teach Sandy and I how to do a Thai dance but I think I need to be slightly more gracefull for that.
As a special treat at the end of the perfomances I got called up on stage. The students decided that they needed to introduce me to the rest of the students in the forign language department. So they asked me where I was from and what I thought about the students at Vinh University. Then they asked me to say something in Vietnamese so I said, "Tôi là cô giáo ơ Đi Họp Vinh." Which means I am a teache at Vinh University. I thought I was done and then they asked me to sing a song. I couldn't refuse so I ended up singing the worst rendition of "Ain't no Mountain High Enough" that you have ever heard for about 1000 students. I don't think that they really noticed because they were just excited for me to sing anything.
Today I have had several students come by to bring me flowers. It is so wonderful to have my studnets come by to visit. They are so shy to speak with me, but I am glad that a few are becoming more confident to come and speak with me.

You missed a golden opportunity to sing the Aggie War Hymn...or the Spirit of Aggieland... I am a little ashamed...
