When it rains it pours!

I honestly have never seen so much rain in my life. Today it has rained ALL day long, in fact it has rained all month long. Today the streets completly flooded. I mean the water was coming over the curb onto the sidewalk and into people's houses. Fortunate for me I had to teach right in the middle of the down pour. So I hiked up my pants, put on my trusty ol' Chacos (endoresment deal pending), opened my extra large umbrella, and headed to class. While I was teaching the rain didn't let up at all and in fact it was raining so hard that my students couldn't hear anything that I was saying. I was literally yelling as loud as I could in order to be heard at all. So just a warning to all of you that if I start asking for more money in the near future it is because Vinh city is completly underwater and I need to buy a boat to get around! The thing that keeps me posative about this whole situation is the fact that in comparision to what Noah faced this is nothing! Please ask dad that the rain will stop soon! There really has been some pretty bad situations with flooding in this region and south of here.

You don't need a boat. Just get an in innertube and you will be fine. They are much easier to 'park'.

Okay, I have been reading all of the stories and maybe you need a boat after all. I don't think I would go outside without my trusty arm floaties on.

Yesssss, chacos make another appearance. Good thing you don't have to dress too "professional" for work, huh?
