I am almost done with my training. Tomorrow is my last day of the practicum. It has been so amazing being able to teach here in Hanoi. All of the students have been so fun and sweet. It has made me really excited about having my own classes when I get to Vinh. I can not wait to meet all of my students and start building relationships with them.
For all of you that were around me last semester while I was going through student teaching you know what a hard time I had to say the least. But I truelly beleive that our father had a definite purpose behind that time. It has been fairly simple for me to teach over here. The Vietnamese students have been a walk in the park compared to the 8th grade students I taught last semester. I know I already said this but I AM really excited to meet my students in Vinh!!!
But the end of training is a bitter sweet event. I am glad to be moving on to why I am actually here but I am going to miss my freinds from training. My freind Erin has been a real life saver here in Hanoi. We have really become good friends and laughed a whole lot over here. She is going to be in Cambodia...so I might have to go and visit Cambodia at some point.
I know that the father has put people in my path for a reason and he has more than taken care of me over here. I am truelly blessed.
I finally met my teammate Sandy today in person. She said that she is going to take me to Big C on Saterday to get things that I need that may not be sold in Vinh. Oh and for all of you unfortunate people to not be familiar with the Big C it is the Asian version of Cosco. So that will be fun. We might eat Pizza Hut while we are there...it really taste like it does in America. I am going to have to really dewesternize (is that a word?) myself because in Vinh there are no western restaurants there. I'm sure I'll be able to tell you all more about Vinh once I actually get there.
